Originating from the ‘Birthplace of Tea’, the Yunnan Province located in the South of China, we present the perfect afternoon tea as a treat, the Yunnan Black Tea. This rare black tea with plentiful golden tips is almost 1700 years old, and grown at an elevation of 3000 to 7000 feet, and has 260 different varieties.
The deep red colored liquor of this exquisite tea has a velvety rich mouth filling flavor profile and a clean nutty aroma, and slightly peppery notes.
This fully oxidized tea presents an intricate smokiness with layers of cocoa and caramel, and hints of mint ending in tarragon notes, with a dry and astringent finish.
